ixm3 Sun, Jun-12-2011, 04:38:49 AM Sitting for 10 yrs...it could be anything.
Make sure all the hoses, fuel and electricals are intact.
Air- no big air leaks (like intake hose that goes from afm to intake manifold). Afm works.
Fuel- need fresh gas. Check fuel lines, tap injectors to make sure they are working. After 10ys I'd bet they are all over the place (stuck close, leaky, stuck open).
Spark- fresh plugs, if it starts for a bit, I'd put the computer last on the list icv prob crapped, throttle switch (?) could be messy too.

migue175140 Mon, Aug-15-2011, 05:08:11 PM it starts great at this time.....now the problem is when idle and i press the gas, sometimes it accelerate and some time it just stay at idle speed......also some times i aceelerate and it takes 5 seceonds until it realy accelerate......what may be the problem....?
RiteOff Tue, Aug-16-2011, 02:29:33 AM Besides bad gas and problems with that(geling in lines etc) i would check vacuum lines for dry cracking, check fuel lines for physical damage etc. More than likely i would remove the entire fuel system and have it cleaned(lots of fresh gas and rags). I would then remove plugs and replace, add some fuel system cleaner and run the hell out of it. Ive seen old cars that have sat for a long time run like new after a aggressive highway run to burn and blow all the crap out

Would be helpful to see a video of your RPM's . A bad 02 sensor or a bad throttle switch would make throttle response slow...
PM sent with email.
