Place the selector switch into the right (passenger side) position, then shift into reverse.
does the mirror move?
If it does not, then your mirror is "INACTIVE" and needs to be taken into the dealer and switched to the ACTIVE mode with their computer.
when "ACTIVE" the switch positions will swap so that the mirror now moves only when in the right position.
since this is the position in which you adjust the mirror anyway all you do is turn the key, place the gear selector in R- adjust the mirrow with the switch to whatever position you want it to be in, turn the key off and lock the car.
there you have it.
from that point you will always have the mirror in that position when you place it in R.
Mine tilts down first, then pulls in toward the body.
this is all dependent on your having Power seats. It will not work otherwise.
