Can someone offer suggestions a good shop in Dallas for installing mods? Where do the DFW people take their cars for aftermarket work? Thanks.

Most of the stuff can be DIY if you have the tools. epM3cisa Wed, Jun-09-2004, 03:00:09 PM There is a similar thread in the SW section. Buy your stuff from Joel at Bavarian Hypersports (a sponsor of this site). If you cant drive down to Houston then have them installed at Autoscope in Plano, a bit pricey though. I am sure there are a few others around Dallas as well. M3CollegePunk Wed, Jun-09-2004, 03:00:58 PM Drive to Houston to Joel's shop.. I know a few people who have done that.. www.bavhypersports.com akam3 Wed, Jun-09-2004, 03:03:35 PM Depends on what kinda mods u wanna install. But, Autoscope can pretty much do everything. I used to go to DTM since their rate is so much more affordable than Autoscope, but I think they went out of business already. What mods are you installing?? marksmith Wed, Jun-09-2004, 03:22:23 PM Autoscope Plano is a very good shop (you could get an organ transplant in the shop it's so clean & organized.) As an experienced BMW AM tuning business they have built a lot of truly nice cars and sell Dinan, AA, and many other excellent components. -Fair prices, good mechanics and a very nice group of folks (my experiences have been very positive!) Good luck HCF Wed, Jun-09-2004, 03:59:03 PM Thanks for all the quick replies! Right now I'm just planning on installing exhaust components. I'd love to check out Joel's shop sometime, but that's too far for a simple exhaust. Thanks again. akam3 Wed, Jun-09-2004, 04:48:02 PM For exhaust components, go to Local Muffler shop and theyc an do the job for u. Go to Pronto Mufflers or Lewisville Mufflers (heard good things bout them) Scho Thu, Jun-10-2004, 05:04:00 AM Come to my house next time I have a tech day and get it done for FREE!!!
