I just completed my 1200 mile service with Gebhardt in Boulder. For those of you who have not used these guys for service, I highly recommend them. Mike Solis took me in at the last minute, chatted with me regarding specifics about the car, performance upgrades, as well as his history of experience in dealing with the M3's. I also had the chance to speak a bit with Tony (the sales manager) and he commented how Gebhardt is making a larger commitment to the BMWCCA crowd by providing discounts on parts, and a presense at local autocross and driving school events. It was refreshing to bring my baby somewhere that didn't feel like some big overblown dealership factory... Everyone that I dealt with was highly personable, and willing to go the extra mile to help me out, and feed my desire to learn more about my new ///M. For all you guys in the front range area... check them out. I think you'll be psyched at the level of service and personal attention they provide.
Aside from the great service, it was also great to be able to pass the 5500 mark on the tachometer! Woah.... what nice noises the M3 makes when it settles into the powerband! I'm absolutely loving this car... If it weren't for all this work and life responsibility crap I'd be out driving right now!.. :fuming:
