Hello M3Forum,

My name is Sean and I operate Oakville Motorwerks.

OM has been busy building several product offerings as well as our own carbon fiber components -SCORZA line. We've selected manufacturers that provide some very exciting modifications for your BMW such as Ground Control and RD Sport, and we also have some exciting news coming up on additional manufacturers joining forces with //OM.

Yes, we are Canadian. But that doesn't mean products take longer to get to you as we have a US location for warehousing. You won't get any delays due to us being snowed under :) The biggest benefit is I won't be running out of snow tires when the season hits.

Some components we have manufactured include the SCORZA Exhaust for the E46 M3, and the CSL style trunk and diffuser which have been well received.

Note-> For the Scorza exhaust both longer or shorter tips are available depending on if you have a diffuser installed.

We only use epoxy based resin to improve quality and strength of the carbon fiber pieces to keep your mods looking as good as your car. What time did you stop by??? I was out today doing a RD Sport tune on a vehicle, we have 2 locations in Oakville...one on North Service and another on Winston Park Drive.

Bear in mind the Winston Park location is where we fabricate the carbon fiber and the guys work in the back not in the front office. Did you drive around the back? The shipping doors are always open as the back is not A/C:facepalm:

Either way...I am there near all day tomorrow and so is Dipal, you are welcome to come visit anytime but generally because this is a manufacturing location and not a retail store setting generally both Dipal and I are between locations at times or at one of our jobber customers as we also sell products to auto repair shops around the GTA for performance items.

I was at RMP today delivering an RD Sport exhaust...these things happen, not often and I apologize if inconvenienced.

oh its no problem dude we were just in the area and I mentioned to him I heard about you guys on the forum so I looked up the address and phone cause we wanted to pick up a few things. We figured why wait for delivery if we can pick it up in person but its no biggie well stop by again soon hopefully you guys get settled in alright that business park is crammed!! lol

We don't have any plans to run a GB on the trunk or diffuser for the rest of this year, 2011 is a definite possibility. Scorza is presently quite busy on building molds for upcoming product launches, outside of the exhausts which has a GB running on them we wouldn't want to take on to much work and miss deadlines.

Product launches? Possibly the CSL door cards or console that everyone has been begging you guys for? haha. Well, as soon as you get close to setting up a group buy on either of those just let me know. I wouldn't mind setting up a group buy feeler/review thread or helping out with anything else to make it possible. :thumbsup2:

Nope...we have had orders today and system has no errors showing. Did you try with a Amex card? If so, that won't work...either Visa or Mastercard and of course Paypal...

Over the course of a recent week-long road trip to Canada, a small squeak and some slight resistance in my steering developed into a twanging/popping noise and near-binding on left turns. This was three days before I would have to drive back from Toronto to Philadelphia, which would be a serious safety risk.

Normally I would have diagnosed and fixed the issue myself, but obviously I lacked the means to do so on short notice while on a road trip. So, I swung by Scorza's shop and spoke with Sean, who referred me to Nick over at Oakville Motorwerks proper. Nick spent two and a half hours at the end of a business day diagnosing the issue. Based on his advice, I ordered a few parts and dropped the car off with him at the end of the next day. He had it ready by the following morning, well in advance of when I needed it even on my tight schedule. He was correct in his diagnosis, and the steering now feels better than it has since I bought the car almost 60,000 miles ago. The grand total I ended up spending on parts and labor was quite reasonable, even including ludicrous dealership parts markup.

On this diagram (http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BG93&mospid=47488&btnr=32_0635&hg=32&fg=30), parts #2, #7, #8, #9, and #11 were what Nick replaced.

As important as the price and service were, perhaps the best thing in my memory was the communication. Nick was completely transparent as to what he was doing and why, at every step of the process. This is important to me as someone who usually does his own work. He heard me out, kept me in the loop, and delivered on his promise.

Rewinding a bit, when I stopped by Scorza, Sean welcomed me to his shop and gave me a quick tour. Scorza seems well on its way to becoming a complete and diverse one-stop shop for anything carbon fiber. I saw a variety of projects in process, from automotive products to weather tracking equipment and uber high-end speaker cabinets. Sean, like Nick, was also extremely friendly and open. He gave the impression of someone who is very invested in his company personally as well as financially, and who values good service as an integral part of what he does. If I had the means to engage his shop for some parts for my car, I would do so in a heartbeat.

As a side note, the video on Oakville Motorwerks's front page does NOT do Scorza's E46 M3 exhaust justice. Having heard that car in person, I feel comfortable saying that it is the best sounding street legal E46 I have ever heard -- from idle to WOT/redline, from the inside or the outside.

I have patience of a saint but even that's being tested since I have had to put up with quality control issues regarding my CSL diffuser since I had purchased it. This issue is still not resolved Sean.....:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
