I have a contact with one of the biggest distributors in the U.S of vinyl material. They also do retail work as in signs, banners, car wraps, etc. They also have the largest printer in America that they print on for their big jobs!!!

I went by his warehouse today and we started talking, and it looks like i will be able to get my hands on their materials.

They use multiple companies for vinyl from 3M to Oracal. This is the high grade air release vinyl! Top of the line! It is UV protected and depending on your color choice it will be laminated as well.

The product i am looking into specifically to re wrap my car and my friends is a 10yr last period. now this is if it is well taken care of and garaged. If it sits out in the sun all the time now the life time will obviously decrease.

Roughly speaking for those who want "quick" quotes for your car = the rolls are 60 in wide and 150ft long. A car (M3) to be safe you would need 60ft length for a mess up or two to wrap your car.

As for now its looking like the cost for vinyl is $2.10 per sq ft. BUT for special colors printing is involved and that's where it gets pricey. For special colors you are looking at roughly $4.15 per sq ft. As for colors i am not specific on what is and is not needed to be printed. Mostly matte colors will need printing except matte black. We do carry that w/o printing needed. You do the math.....
