Hello everyone

I know it's out of season but I'm possibly picking up some winters with an '05 vert as part of the deal.

Quick question on winter tires, I know with some new vehicles you need a specific rim due to tire pressure sensors (or something to that effect). With an '05 M3 Vert do you need specific rims or would any common style for the rubber do?

Also, can anyone recommend some good brands? I was told Pirelli and Bridgestone make decent winters but I wouldn't know.

Any info would be greatly appreciated - looking forward to picking up the car!

Thanks

the e46 doesnt use tire pressure sensors, so no worries

thanks for the reply - so I would be ok with any rim then?

What's a good price roughly for winter rubber and mediocre winter rim? Ballpark is ok.

Appreciate the advice.

Impressive! I think you have me beat...I picked up an '06 vert with some winters as part of the deal. I can't believe they threw in the whole car!

Seriously though, Blizzaks and you can't go wrong. Amazing tires in the snow, I might actually use my ski pass for skis next year!
