Hello members, I am new in here.
My name is Arni and I live in Reykjavik,Iceland.

I am a bodyman and a painter.
Recently I bought this BMW M3 at a local auction for a small amount of money....wonder why:facepalm:

It is a Sterling Silver 2002 M3 imported from Germany.
Driven 60.000km
Has some tuning and is dynotested at 380hp.
Black leather and H.K soundsystem.

We only have about 4 M3's left here in Iceland,,,after the bank crisis begun over here lots of cool cars were sold out of the country to Norway,Denmark and Germany...including couple of e46 M3's.
So, I did not wanted to see this M3 in parts at a local body shop....so I started THIS!

Car took a rollover and landed on the wheels in a frozen pond...in downtown Reykjavik after passing a car in too much speed.

Few beers later

I decided at the last moment to switch colours,,,and have it PURE white.:rulaiz:

So now I am putting it togeather,,,,2 hours every evening..hehe.
Will post some more photos of the results....if you want.
I also have a 1999 BMW M-Roadster that I bought in the US and imported it to Iceland,,was black but now it is Le-mans blue...also imported the Mustang that you see on the m5 picture here below.

And I recently sold my Carbon black e39 M5........cant have them all.

Thanx.
Arni

I am speechless! WOW!

I would have never thought that anyone would actually repair such a majorly damaged car. :thumbsup2:

I have to say, you have the determination which I have yet to see from any enthusiast, can't believe the time and money you put in this car to bring it to this stage. Looks perfect so far, hope to see more pictures of everything back together.

Bro thats an excellent idea! I love restoring accident damaged cars cos they are so much fun for a project especially if you have a pro chassis bench like the CAROLINER :D

The measurements are 100% on the car now.

But this project has not been exspensive since I do all the work by my self and bought parts from ebay and from forums like this.Total cost with parts+the car is around $5000.

Can't wait to see more. For a car that rolled over, at speed, into a freezing lake, I'm kind of surprised at how it looks in the two pictures - I imagined much worse

Very nice.

I was in Iceland last year and remember seeing a really nice E60 M5, not many other nice cars though...Yours should stand out.

Hey Ami
What a nice car, good color choice, I own an Alpine white E46 M3, this thing is a beauty. I was wondering if you are interested in importing cars and motorcycles to Iceland, that is my line of work and was wondering if we can do business. Matt
