Now my Saints just need to get their heads out of their asses by mid January and remember how to play football!

On the bright side, the Steelers are finally playing well. I'd love to see them make the wildcard and upset the Colts.

Wheels are off in Vikings land.....I called this five weeks ago

MN and NO are going to have a tough post-season if they don't figure they're sh*t out soon, with Philly and my Packers gunning for them

True that, Philly is playing very well right now. The Packers I'm not worried about too much, they've been really inconsistent this year much like Dallas.

I don't know if I'd say they're playing "well." They won a game where the opponent committed 113 yards worth of penalties, 3 resulting in first downs, 2 reversing touchdowns. Probably the sorriest game I have ever seen the Ravens play, but the Steelers still only won by a field goal. And as noted elsewhere, they need a Raiders win to have any shot... of course, if the Ravens play like they did last week, anything's possible.

I dunno. The heartbreaker with Pittsburgh aside, they look pretty strong right now. They've been inconsistent sure, but they're hot at the right time.

Where were THOSE Bears all season long? Gutsy win by them.

If you take away the last 0:03 of the Steelers game, the Pack is 7-0 in the last seven games. Even with that game, they're 6-1. Compare that to some of the records over the past seven games for the rest of the league......i think you'll find the Pack right near the top with the Chargers, Colts, and Philly. Now add to that a defense that is consistently ranked in the top three, an offense that is in the top six and getting better every week, and a QB that has similar (and in some cases better) stats than Manning, Brees, Favre, and Rivers, and you've got a dangerous team.

Packers have yet to play they're best football this year.....last time a team did this they were from NY and they won the big game ;)

Exactly. That's what I'm saying... they are hot at the absolute right time, while a lot of "better" teams are slumping.

Btw, got a Packers cap as an XMas present when I was in WI last week. Win!

Stayed in Sheboygan (where my friends live) spent the in/out travel days in Milwaukee (Cafe Hollander and down in the 3rd Ward). Also hiked the Parnell Tower trail on snowshoes. :)

Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile. The 3 stooges in the MNF booth talked about "upsets" happening week to week (another week 16 upset being TB over NO), and how you just can't be surprised anymore because they happen so often.

Believe me, I wish I could count on the Bears being competitive but they stink. That said, Cutler + protection + blown coverages = win. This formula just hasn't come together enough this season for the Bears like it did last night.

And BTW, NFC  The champ will come from the AFC this year regardless of the NFC Superbowl representative.

You can't justify the Packers "winning" a game because of the last :03 of a game won by the other team.

In that regard the Steelers won every game they lost on OT where the other team kicked a FG.

Or the Saints won vs. Tampa Bay where for :10 they gave up a kick return for a TD.

What I'm saying is, a loss is a loss, regardless of circumstances. **** just happens.

I think this post season will be a lot more interesting than the last few.
