Bought my 2005 M3 with SMG, 19's, CWP, Xenon about 4 weeks ago. Picked it up from an elderly couple who bought it new and had it for their 3rd car parked in their second home here in the Phoenix area.
The gentleman lost his eye sight 2 years ago and is legally blind and not allowed to drive, so his wife drove it sparingly. They bought the car as a retirement toy to enjoy their "Golden Years". They decided to sell and I just happen to be looking for one.
Talked to them at length, got all the service records and called the dealer to confirm and also ran carfax and everything matched what they said.
Car had less than 19k miles on it and they kept extreme good care of it. It is a clean M3.
Love the color of Jet Black with Cinnamon interior. They also had the windscreen and a battery tender for it. I don't think they ever got into it to the cars performance ability.
I've kept the top down for the most part since I've bought it. Weather is great here in Phoenix. I would prefer it to be about 10 degrees warmer, but I turn on the seat heaters and turn the heater on and with the windscreen it's been great to drive.
So here's a pic of it - shot with my iPhone but it gives you an idea of it.
I really enjoy this site. Learning a lot of what the M3 is all about, doing mods and even DIY. Bought filter and oil to change my oil this week. Even though it was serviced not to long ago, I feel you can't change oil enough.
