i have a new carbon black m3 on order and was wondering if i should ask the dealer not to detail the car when i take deliver? if so, what products should i use to do the first detail and can someone direct me to a list of proceedures? thanx

oh man theres so many different things you can use. If you want you can ask the dealership not to do anything. Like u said, its a good idea, if i had thought of it i would have deffentiely told them not to wax mine. This will save you lots of time clay barring the car. I reccomend Zaino, it works great, and tehre have been some tests comparing it with zymol meguilars and some other products. Do a search and you'll find so much info on it.

Heh, don't let the dealer ploy you for that $800 paint sealant. You're just paying for an $800 wax job. Plain and simple.

I personaly like zymol cleaner wax.
