View Full Version : Seattle M3 Owners! I have some questions.
rmedeiros Wed, Mar-10-2004, 01:57:14 AM 1. What kind of discount did you receive on your M3 and from which dealership (assuming you bought it new)?
2. Who does the best job in the area for StoneGuard or ClearBra applications?
3. Who provides the best window tint job?

Hey, you live in Sammamish also  What color is your ///M? I'm surprised I haven't seen you around. Mine is silver, bone stock for now. As far as your questions:
1. bought mine used so can't answer this
2. not sure about this
3. Have heard that Mr. Tint & Son in Bellevue does high-end work but is really expensive. Others have had good experience with Aspen tinting in downtown. Check out this link for more info.

rmedeiros Wed, Mar-10-2004, 09:04:54 PM My M3 is on order and expected to be delivered in May. I ordered:
Carbon Black
Perf Pkg
6 speed
Navi
19" OEMs
Width adjusted seats

I'm in Trossach's, where are you?
coug4life Wed, Mar-10-2004, 09:15:29 PM That should be a sweet ride when it comes in. Where is Trossach's? I'm in Columbia development, near the elementary school.
rmedeiros Wed, Mar-10-2004, 10:04:42 PM Off of Issaquah/Duthie Hill Rd near Alderra golf course. No idea where Columbia or the elementary school are.

Sounds like you are on the other side closer to Issaquah??? I'm closer to Redmond, off of 25th and Sahalee Drive near the Sahalee golf course. I work down in Redmond, so it's a convenient location for me except for the damn gridlock on HW 202 these days :banghead:
rmedeiros Thu, Mar-11-2004, 01:49:21 AM I work in Redmond as well. ATT. Who do you work for?

Really, AT&T, eh? Same here  I'm in Redmond Town Center, I do automation development in the MMS division, but not sure for how long :???: Rumors of mass layoffs in the office since the Cingular merger news.

It's a little late to jump in, but I will anyway. ;)
I bought mine from BMW Bellevue. They gave me $600 off MSRP (of which $400 is for the factory alarm and its installation). I also know BMW Bellevue has a shop nearby that does the StoneGuard work for them. A friend had his done there. I think they did a pretty good job.
I don't live in the Sammamish area or work for ATT, but hopefully I'm welcome in this thread...

man, screw ATT anyways, I've been busting my a$$ here for too long and then upper management turns around and sells us out  They always look out for themselves first (e.g. Enron, Worldcom), the shareholders next, and employees last....bastards.

Yes, it is time to move to the B and the I quadrant

No kidding... look at the Oracle vs. PeopleSoft fiasco. All they care about is themselves and shareholders. Especially the Oracle bastards... they don't give a s*** about what's gonna happen to the PeopleSoft employees if they do successfully buy them out.

I am an ex-AWS employee too. Blew that popcorn stand at the end of the year after I made sure got the yearly bonus. :D
Was at there for over 6 years and my last gig was as a dev manager for awe direct ecommerce team. Since I've left, people still keep me in the loop and you would not believe how badly cingular has messed everything up. But now I'm working at Clearwire, Craig McCaw's new start-up, and life is much better.

Good for you! What does Clearwire do?
GatorChomp Fri, Apr-22-2005, 05:44:26 PM Wireless broadband provider. Think DSL/Cable without wires or installation. Just plug it in and off you go. We are now serving 4 markets and rapidly expanding. And we are aligned with Intel to implement WiMax which is going to be WiFi on steroids.

Hey glad to hear you're outta this joint  I'm still stuck at this popcorn stand :banghead: Cingular's way of doing things just doesn't make sense most of the time. I actually have friends over at Clearwire from my old fixed wireless days, things are looking promising over there? If things go south here, I'm contemplating moving over there. BTW, are you from UF? My dad teaches over at UF in Gainesville, just curious.
