Dang. That's a lot of money to spend on an M3. Does anyone have any pics of this road race car?

and some more.... god i wish i had 220k i could pissaway on something like this monster. I realize you could get a much faster car for the same price, but there are NONE of these around and the individuality factor goes thru the roof. Nothing like being the only one in your town, or state for that matter

So I take it the vents on the hood aren't functional?

it doesnt really look like it, im sure it would help keep bay temps down minutely. However the airintake boxs are more toward the front. kinda stupid cus they could have mounted it up perfectly if you look close, it would have had a nice ram-air if the intakes went straight up. probably wouldnt be too hard to mad

I don't know if I like it. The interior is great but the body seems more like **** than a racecar. I'll stick with the original M3.

EDIT: It won't let me type r i c e here. It just has the ****. What the heck?

That bad boy is packing a 4.0 V-8 w/ a flat crank so you can imagine it sounds more like a Ferrari than a M3. The only reason this car came about was BMW was basically cheating in the 2001 ALMS by having a V-8 in it. We all know the M3 has no such motor so the P-Car guys were crying to the ruling body about having their a$$es handed to them every weekend. BMW had to come up w/25 homog. examples in a very short amt of time so they could campaign the GTR in the 2002 ALMS. They were unable to due this and only 7 were made at a cost of 220K. Believe it or not the car was not as fast as you think, I had the luck of seeing it at Moroso one day testing for a Car and Driver article. Sounded like a F-1, it just shreeeeeeked when it went by.
That car is in the UAE somewhere and none ever made it into the hands of US drivers.

the car is sick but its not worth the price....the CSL while outrageous in price too is a much better buy

I have the E36 version, but paid much less: $39.99 at Sharper Image about three years ago. Looks good, but not spacious enough.

Or country...because none ever made it to the U.S.:D
