0-60Motorsports Wed, Feb-25-2009, 10:55:21 AM Hey guys,
I have always wanted to start a Journal and so here I am. My car is an 03.5 production and I bought my car 2 years ago off a Bahraini princess and it was in mint condition as it was lady driven, just needed some minor maintenance and tires and warranty/recall issues taken care off. It was first registered in Jan 04 so hence the 04 title in my thread.
I have most of my updates in other threads on this forum so to start off i'll just post the links here and then from now on update this thread with all future mods. Thanks for looking guys and Cheers.

JeST Thu, Apr-02-2009, 12:33:08 AM Nice console! I drive the car on long distances and couldn't imagine not having a cup holder :lolhit:. We need some detailed pics of the cars guts man!
You planning on attending any track events this year? You still stateside?
0-60Motorsports Thu, Apr-02-2009, 12:37:07 AM Hey Homie! Yes i am in Tampa, FL right now, leaving on friday to Houston for the NASCAR weekend and then going back to Bahrain. I will post pics as soon as i do a complete interior remodeling soon. There are some nice things i have coming up which all of you will kill me for!
Also plan on keeping my OEM BT and this is what i will try to keep fitted in my car when i install the VCSL center console.
Im afraid for us the track season is almost over as its getting hot in Bahrain and with temps hitting 120f with 100% humidity in summer no one will be anywhere near the track! We start up again in September with open track sessions but i like to hit the track starting Nov to Feb. Those are nice cool months and good to drive the car on our F1 Circuit! :D
0-60Motorsports Sun, May-10-2009, 09:09:02 PM Hey Guys, a little tiny update!
Firstly got a nice surprise in the mail today, LED interior lighting kit form my friend www.khoalty.com Will be installing it tomorrow as its too late right now and will post some pics too :D
Also Jo @ Eurodyne sent over the GoMiniGo front plate holder and thats in transit, should be here this week. Will post pics soon!
And oh yeah new interior update coming hopefully this week if my clearance papers/invoices arrive from UK tomorrow. You guys are gona love this!
M3erz Sun, May-10-2009, 09:25:26 PM Welcome Back Bro..
yala Show us some interior mods.. might change my mind about renoveling the Center console.. Keep it up! :thumbsup2:
0-60Motorsports Sun, May-10-2009, 09:28:15 PM InshaAllah bro! I am gona take a few days off to do the interior starting from next week some time. Will give the center console for a nice clear coat and cut the side mirror switch hole in it as well....... That will be painful! ahahahahah And later in the summer im gona give my car in to the body shop for paint both sides as the passenger side has a scratch on it and might even paint the CHs Gun Metal as now im not gettin the GM ZCPs promised to me by a member over here........
daytonaviolet Sun, May-10-2009, 10:17:06 PM the interior will transform your m3 :)
0-60Motorsports Mon, May-11-2009, 06:47:45 AM I know it will along with my surprise mods. You will love what i have planned Fern But i aint gona tell you. I want to see if you notice the surprise mods :D
0-60Motorsports Sun, May-17-2009, 05:04:05 PM Ok Fellas Here starts my interior Upgrade project! Ever since i bought my M3 i always dreamed about a CSL. Seeing that CSL prices were very high and it wasnt that difficult to turn my car into a CSL lookalike. Well i started with the body and that was fairly easy to do apart from the roof which i havent gotten round to doing YET!
Any way, One of close friends in the UK is a CSL owner and decided to convert his CSL to full race spec and offered me up the interior! Being a good bargain i couldnt let it pass and back in Feb sent him the payment and decided to have the CSL interior shipped over. There were some complications in the customs clearance process but they were finally sorted and the parts delivered.
This is not the end but only start to my interior project! I have always loved the CSL prototype much more than the production version! I will be doing all the trim mods etc exactly like the prototype CSL :D Stay tuned and i'll keep updating with pics over the next 4-5 days :D Also more exterior CSL PROTOTYPE Style mods on the way :D
These are all the pics i have for today........ I upload more tomorrow......

daytonaviolet Wed, May-20-2009, 08:57:34 PM nice work ejaz.. question regarding the BT pairing button. why :clueless: yes, i know that you'll need it for pairing your phones.. but its only needed once for the pairing process right? after its paired, you'll hardly or even never use it again. i know i had this with my grey oem interior. so, why dedicate a hole in the VCSL console?
0-60Motorsports Wed, May-20-2009, 08:59:17 PM Cos when you disconnect the battery the BT memory is erased. So i was afraid of that and also i wanted to do it in a little unique way. I think it looks so nicely done :D
daytonaviolet Wed, May-20-2009, 09:14:38 PM i agree, the install for the button is awesome. but still, it takes away from the vcsl console. i just put the wire under the console and pulled it out and installed the button when i need to re-pair it.
0-60Motorsports Wed, May-20-2009, 09:16:23 PM Thats a good idea! I wouldnt mind doing it like that but its all done now and im lovin it! Thanks so much for your help with everything bro! Now i think we both know whats next........ M TRACK MODE LOL!

yes.. the M track mode posted by ferpe sounds very nice. but you would still need to put in the ZCP tighter steering ratio right? i've always wanted to do the ZCP/CSL steering ratio.. perhaps sometime soon
0-60Motorsports Wed, May-20-2009, 09:32:14 PM Yup! I dont know where i would find a good used CSL steering rack, if you find two let me know but i dont wana do any mods to the car over the summer as i am planning to spend the money on another car, a DD. I am looking for a nice car, like a 1995 E500 W124 or E30 M3.....I'll see what i get lucky with...
0-60Motorsports Thu, May-21-2009, 07:26:17 PM Hey Guys! Im sorry for the delay but the Kiwi rear headrest refuse to come out! So i'll be taking it into ULTIMATE GARAGE to see if they can show me how to remove them. gggrrrrr...... Finished pics coming on Saturday

0-60Motorsports Thu, Jun-18-2009, 01:56:45 PM Update: After getting the K & N intake i loved the sound and felt a power increase on the butt dyno! Sound was so nice i didnt wana drive with the windows up! Well along come summer and 120f heat wave with 100% humidity, I had already seen Mikymu Kill the heat soak off on his K&N intake using an ECIS heat shield and replacements filter with maf screen housing. http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=167570
Here are the pics of the shield and new filter:

PKumarM3 Thu, Jun-18-2009, 03:17:19 PM with the csl bumper, your already eliminating all forms of brake cooling and you are eliminating MORE air flow to the intake (there is more of an opening on the stock bumper). the direct air flow is ok from the CSL bumper, but the OEM bumper gives you brake cooling too. 2 is always better than one - unless you are talking about chins (double chin < single chin)
and now you are adding heat soak to your intake system, regardless of the "heat soak" fix that mikymu provided. heat will get through regardless. and hamper performance.
i would stay with stock air box my man! it is sealed, and provides the best performance. plus u are eliminating heat soak from the equation w/the stock box. get the bimmerworld boot, and replace your filters often due to the excessive dust and sand in the air out there. I would stick w/oem filters since they are cheap and you can change em once a month when it gets bad or once every 3 months.
ive been reading alot of your posts.
why don't you upgrade your radiator, add an oil cooler with your own brackets, keep the stock air-box, and get the bmw motorsport thermostat? that way your car will run a lot cooler!
eliminate the variables that could create heat soak, motor heating issues, and your brakes overworking (k&n filter and csl front bumper). i know how hot the desert gets!!!

Thanks for the input man! Ok im gona keep the CSL bumper for now even though i am on the look out for an OEM M3 bumper for track days. I dont drive my car hard at all on the street! Trust me i drive like a grand ma! BUT ITS FRICKIN HOT over here!
The radiator & oil cooler is an upgrade for sure int he future but it'll cost $2000 to do that not inc labor and right now im saving up for another Daily Driver. I'll do more cooling mods in the near future, just wana do them all together and not one by one. Cheers.
PKumarM3 Thu, Jun-18-2009, 03:48:17 PM whatever makes you happy
you should look into some d/a or turner pulleys. let the motor work as efficiently as possible since you may be decreasing its efficiency with the other stuff.
good luck w/the car though :drink:
0-60Motorsports Thu, Jun-18-2009, 04:35:51 PM Ok guys today is my birthday and I'm so glad these parts arrived today and I installed them today. It is 42c outside right now and its 19:35 and my car feels like I just installed the oem airbox back! The car feels smooth and oem like but louder cos of the intake. Also compared ro this afternoon it feels faster and so much smoother, no hesitation in traffic. I LIKE, A LOT! :D

If the CSL bumper was really that bad I dont think it would've been on the CSL to start with, now would it?
People that track CSL's upgrade the brakes, but that's just because the standard brakes aren't that good on track.
Ever since you took your bumper (CSL stuff) off to pay for some other mods all you do is hate on CSL stuff.
Ejaz's car looks good with it on (which was his aim) and it suits his purpose fine. He's trying to find a solution to have an aftermarket intake with as little heat soak as possible, we all know how great the stock intake is, but thats not the point of his last mods.

I was just wondering how i am adding heat soak to my car by using the ECIS heat shield? My car has the OEM CSL intake snorkal which feeds air directly to the intake and also the kidney grill intakes feed air to it.
I have been driving my car for the last 3 days in 120f weather and the car felt sluggish at times and hesitant but today after installing the Heat shield and filter from ECIS i took the car out and it felt like i had the OEM box back on! The car is so smooth and the power, its like the Power has come back all of a sudden. By the way the temp when i took the car out was 45c at sunset!!!!!!
I dont BS and i talk fact. This is fact and i have still not finished modding the intake to kill even more heat soak, today was just an effort to install it! Any way Bro if you dont believe in it, I cant make you but this is reality, my car is fast in 120f cos of the ECIS heat shield and filter with Maf screen holder.
The Oem Box is great but i wanted a bit more sound from my car and I am very Happy.
FYI With my CSL Bumper and No brake cooling like the OEM bumper my brakes survived 4 20 min sessions the second time on the BAHRAIN F1 Circuit which is famous for its hard braking sections! My friend on the other hand who had EXACTLY the same Brake set up as me finished his brakes in 2 open track day sessions (in total 8 20 min sessions of the f1 circuit). And yes we did 2 cooling down laps in total almost 10km of cooling down.
Also FYI my friends race their real CSLs in the CSL cup in the UK with no brake cooling mods and their doing just fine :D
Thanks for your input any way, Like i said before im gona get the oil cooler soon cos this heat is murder but i was thinking of removing the fan clutch and going with the electric fan as some people have had success with this mod.
daytonaviolet Thu, Jun-18-2009, 09:33:32 PM fact.. kumar hates CSL mods :rofl2: enough said
to avoid brake heating, just upgrade to BBK. but adding heat shield is a plus
0-60Motorsports Thu, Jun-18-2009, 09:38:48 PM Fernando my Brother! Nice to see you here, im gona upgrade to BBK early next year cos my STOPTECH STG2 is still pretty good. :D Already upgrading my friends car to full BBK 355mm ST60/ST40 in the coming 2 weeks :D

PKumarM3 Thu, Jun-18-2009, 10:36:07 PM If the CSL bumper was really that bad I dont think it would've been on the CSL to start with, now would it?
People that track CSL's upgrade the brakes, but that's just because the standard brakes aren't that good on track.
Ever since you took your bumper (CSL stuff) off to pay for some other mods all you do is hate on CSL stuff.
Ejaz's car looks good with it on (which was his aim) and it suits his purpose fine. He's trying to find a solution to have an aftermarket intake with as little heat soak as possible, we all know how great the stock intake is, but thats not the point of his last mods.
the csl bumper is not bad at all. it is drop dead gorgeous and a beautiful design. It is like Salma Hayek - it is gorgeous, you want to bone her, and take her out to dinner, but the minute she opens her mouth and starts talking with that annoying voice, you want to deck her in the face. The CSL bumper is fantastic, but once you start understanding why its compromised, you just facepalm yourself. The reason I removed it was because it eliminated both of the 2 brake ducts. The m3 brakes are adequate, but not for track usage. Also, don't put so much trust in the final product, as the CSL was BMW's marketing dream. They showcased the SMG, they had 19 inch track wheels , a non functional rear diffuser, non functional front bumper, and had fixed back seats without roll over protection since the oem csl seats were not meant to fold in a roll over, like OEM seats are. Either way, the car LOOKS and SOUNDS insane. But its just SLIGHTLY faster than an e46 m3. We're not talking Lebron vs. Stephon Marbury, we're talking Lebron vs. Kobe (a good fair fight)
the standard brakes are FINE at the track, with an upgrade to brake pad, brake lines, and fluid.
i would not like to pollute Ejaz' thread with a battle, so you can state that i dislike or love csl stuff. FWIW, I have a CSL poster framed in my workshop area. It is a fantastic car, but like all cars, there are flaws. :thumbsup2:

How are you adding heat soak? - your engine bay is warm. Regardless of that heat shield, that is not going to keep warm air from dispersing from one side to the other. Diffusion is the scientific process of molecules in a higher concentration area moving to a lower concentration area. Molecules of air will move from the warmer heavily warm air molecule side, to the lower populated cooler air molecule side. The heatshield will slow down diffusion, but diffusion will HAPPEN.
My friend has a 335 with an exposed dual cone filter. The air intake on that car, like ours, is on the "cooler" side of the engine bay. Regardless of its location, the heat of the engine bay diffuses to that area and there is sluggishness on WARM days. AFE made an intake for their dual cone intake that was supposed to have a heat shield --- didn't make a difference.
Heat is a very hard thing to overcome.
Also, the air that you are sucking in w/the snorkel is WARM air. Although ANY air is better than NO air, a closed system may be a better alternative.
You are feeling the effects of a new filter. Get a car that hasn't had a new filter and is in a dusty sandy area, and put a new filter on. It will feel less sluggish and will feel alot better!
I am happy that you are happy with the sound of the filter!
Your information, just as mine was with brake cooling duct information, is nice, but its useless, since people will use brakes differently. Thats just how it goes.
Add PFC 01s and Castrol SRF fluid and SS lines, and they will outperform a Brembo BBK with the axxis pads. There are alot of variables.
The CSL races in the CSL cup is cool. Brake cooling is a very important thing for racing. They might not have brake cooling, as it might be a restriction in their racing circuit, but you can not state that brake cooling is not important. It is. Not for HPDE. I overkilled my car with getting the brake cooling kit, but it gives me the peace of mind that my brakes will not warp due to excessive heat - but I also realize that some brake pads need to be at a certain temperature in order to work. Everything has variables and compromises. Two steps forward, 1 step back.
fact.. kumar hates CSL mods :rofl2: enough said

i don't hate CSL mods. I love the looks.
\
Anyways, don't want to get into a debate about all this stuff with you in your journal. The car looks great, the oem csl interior is awesome, the CH"s are heavy but the best looking wheel for any car, and everything looks awesome. Have fun w/the car!
0-60Motorsports Thu, Jun-18-2009, 10:42:01 PM Thanks Kumar, You got some interesting info there and I understand what your saying. My Filter on the car was very nice and clean as i only drive my car on non dusty days and once every 2-3weeks. Thanks for the compliments Bro. I love my car for what it is i only do 2-3 track days with it. I hardly every drive fast on public roads with max high way speed of 120kph.
I feel i am getting the car to where i want it to be. I love the stock exhaust system and even though the AP was good it was too loud for my taste. I am thinking of going with an Eisenmann sport for the right sound.
More updates to come soon :D
Cheers.

0-60Motorsports Sun, May-09-2010, 09:14:38 PM Boys n Girls,
Here's the latest on my E46 M3. Ordered a lot of parts for the car
The problem was I was having knocking sounds coming from the back so we decided to put the car up and inspect the subframe. NO CRACKS. So inspected the drive shaft and the GUIBO was cracked big time and so were the diff bushings. So I decided to order the following parts to improve handling and drivetrain:
New Diff cover with OEM bushings
Front diff bushing
Guibo
Drive shaft center bearing and bracket
Powerflex Subframe bushings (yellow compound)
TMS subframe reinforcement kit (might as well as the subframe is out)
E46 Strut tower reinforcement plates
Rogue Engineering rear spring perch's
MRTM Oil Filter cover
Ground Control Street/school Coilover kit with camber plates and RSMs
The car will also be getting a refreshing paint job, it'll be JB like original but with SPECIAL BLACK so it'll be nice and deep. I will post pictures as the parts start arriving.
0-60Motorsports Thu, May-13-2010, 09:23:18 PM Just ordered myself a reverse camera. I love me gadgets!

0-60Motorsports Wed, Oct-20-2010, 12:42:25 PM Updates coming up soon, I have sent off my DME and SMG ECU to a great tuner in the UK who was featured in BMW CAR MAG and is a close friend. I am interested to get my ECU back and dyno the car. Unfortunately i made the biggest mistake and didnt do a baseline dyno.
What i WILL do is when he comes to visit me in bahrain, I'll have him return the ECU to stock so we can get baseline numbers and then do the tune again. the wrost thing is we have 91 here so I wont get a big a gain as on 93 but no worries I hope we will get 93 soon.
I'll post up the updates of the Subframe and GC coils today as well. :D
PerkM3 Thu, Oct-21-2010, 06:37:57 PM Very nice journal, I can't believe I've missed this until now. Now for the questions, where did you get that wheel and is it any smaller than the OEM one. I ask because with my Sparco seats my knees sometime hit the bottom of the wheel when working the pedals so I've been looking at wheels but I want to retain the stock buttons.

BMWDEMON Mon, Nov-01-2010, 02:05:47 PM Nice stuff Ejaz...looking forward to your updates. I am still considering at some point strengthening my subrame even though inspection showed it as OK. I am keeping this car so all this maintence is probably better now than later.

Yeah I recommend you do the TMS Kit! Better now then later if it cracks...... Also make sure you change all the rubber parts that need changing while the subframe's out to save on labor charge :D

0-60Motorsports Sun, Dec-05-2010, 10:44:25 AM I had a set of RT Cats lying around along with AP headers. As my car is EURO spec i was thinking of replacing my OEM cats with the RT cats. The reason I didnt go catless is because i was afraid of the smell of gas while parked. That would be annoying to me.
So here we go:
RT Cats.....
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b96/ejazsharif/DSC04686.jpg
Swapping O2 Sensors from OEM Euro cats to RT Cats....
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b96/ejazsharif/DSC04689.jpg
OEM Euro Cats....

RT Cats Installed.....
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b96/ejazsharif/DSC04692.jpg
Ok first start up i didnt notice anything different in the way the car sounded. I am still on the full OEM Euro Exhaust system apart from the RT cats now. The car felt smoother on the road. As soon as I eccelearted at 3.5k rpm the sound just turned into BASSY RASP! Its loud BASSY RASP! But you know i kinda really like it! I was trying to get rid of rasp yet now im stuck with more of it but it sounds very nice! All i gotta do is get an SS Res Pipe and Nice street or sport muffler and the sound should be great with little rasp.
I will do a dyno with the car as it is now and after installing the AP headers to see what difference they make on a euro spec M3.
There have been small updates here and there and I havent taken any pics of those. I promise I will very soon once the car has been detailed.....

Just remove it completely, and after you install it and put software in, make sure you cancel the adaption value on GT1, that way the electronic will learn the software better and you will have no problems on the cold start.
And welcome to the club!:thumbsup2:

Hey Bro, I won't be removing the flap completely as when it's open it divides the air coming in from the bottom and top if the airbox. We were examining thus issue yesterday and it seemed to be ok to leave it open but installed.
After we install the tune we'll reset adaptations for sure. Thanks Bro.
0-60Motorsports Thu, Mar-10-2011, 07:01:13 PM Was busy stripping the cars trim etc for the full JB paint job with anti scratch clear coat. what i meant by the trim was everything, like the door trim and window trim, headlights, tailights etc everything needed to be stripped off the car for a full respray
I will let you know if I buy the cams but I think its the best way to go with the intake :)

oh my fault, i totally misunderstood your post. i thought you were going to respray the trim to match JB. it'll feel good im sure to have her resprayed back to brand new :)
i think cams and other internal engine work is the only way to take advantage of the airbox :thumbsup2: the next stage of my build after headers/tune is also going to be some airbox and cams.

0-60Motorsports Mon, Apr-11-2011, 08:16:04 AM u repainted the car? why?
Well ever since I got the car someone keyed my passenger door and fender after a few months of woner ship. Well Then i faced a lot of issues no matter what I did to protect the paint cos of our lovely sandy weather! The Jet Black paint from BMW unlike other colors is not the best in terms of durability as its a bit SOFT and scratches easily. Even using a million micro fibers etc didnt work like expected. I took a lot of advice from my friend, Phil at detailers domain but in the end I knew the paint was crap and had to go for a full repaint.
I spoke to my friend who owns the body shop I use and he recommended to go with GLASURIT with their Anti Scratch clear. His car was painted aroound 5years ago using the same type of paint and it has little to no scratches even in our crappy weather! So thats when I decided to repaint the complete car as I was NEVER happy from day one!
Last Saturday was the first day when i actually saw the finish of the new paint job and all I can say is WOW! The Painter told me his arm was aching as the anti scratch clear is very thick while spraying and he had to work very carefully to get an even coating! MashaAllah finishing is amazing!

EYEHAVEYOU Fri, Apr-15-2011, 04:11:13 PM Love everything you've done with the car, and where you're taking it. Saving what I can for a CSL airbox :)
On your wheels, how did you select the silver paint? At some point I'm sure I'll need to re-paint mine, but BBS won't give out paint codes from what I've heard.

0-60Motorsports Fri, May-06-2011, 12:17:10 PM Paint job done! Picking it up tomorrow morning from the body shop and taking it directly to the tech shop for the install of the CSL Intake and AP headers. My car is euro spec so we will see what kinda gains I can get from the AP headers Click here to enlarge SS resonated X-Pipe being installed too to reduce the rasp. All i need now is a nice muffler.
Once i take the car to the tech I will read the DME and send it off to EVOLVE for the ALPHA-N tune on 91. Later on we'll be doing a 93 tune too once I can get hold of some 93 fuel. We only have 91 at pump in Bahrain Click here to enlarge I was thinking I'll just buy some VP Racing 99 (euro) octane unleaded fuel just for Sal@Evolve to make me a 93 tune. Updates with pics and vids coming soon.

0-60Motorsports Wed, May-25-2011, 08:42:28 PM Well guys Sal didn't let me leave the dyno (dyno jet) till we finished my tune. With up to 50c/122f intake air temps the car made constant 295 to the wheels! I forgot to remove the engine cover so i'll do that this week and dyno it again next week so i can get rpm and torque readings. In one of the runs the car made 298whp. All of the figures are SAE. These are awesome power figures for our crazy hot temps and $#@!ty fuel! I was using 91 with torco octane booster. I will post results tomorrow with dyno sheets. Thanks to my dear Brother Sal @ Evolve.

Thanks

Yes the tails are LAMIN-X Red Tails, I hade the Gun Smoke before those and after 4 years had to break up the BLACKNESS on the car with some red. Lets say 95% of people who know my car noticed it immediately and said it was a welcome change. Thanks for the comment bro.

Bro, I dont think they would be a very good solution. Im gona take some close up pics in a few days once the weather clears as the cars covered right now. Also I'll be repalcing the OEM flexible intake hose soon and when the bumper comes off for that I'll take more pics of the brake cooling soltuion possibilities. Oh I cant wait to install my BBK :)

JB sure is!!! I just spent a ton of hours trying to correct mine and I still haven't gotten the hang of detailing. I'll probably try another paint correction in several months. I really under estimated paint correction. It really takes a lot of skill and patience! On the bright side, I learned a lot as I went around the car and I think my technique slowly got better.
I can't wait to see that photoshoot of yours!

Yeah, JB comes a bit soft from the factory so it isn't very durable. I had my car repainted with anti scratch clear :)

But Man it felt so nice to drive her, like the exhaust burbuling away on the down shifts or throttle blips and the sound of the intake when I put my foot down. God Bless ///M Power

Thanks, Car comes a long way. And I enjoy modding her little by little but now I feel i wana complete her. OEM CF roof, Rear ST40 BBK, OEM ZCPs/CSLs (maybe), EVOLVE Headers (when their ready), FX-R High beam projectors to compliment the low beam FX-Rs.

0-60Motorsports Fri, Apr-13-2012, 10:37:30 PM Bimmerworld Oil cooler on the way early next week :)
Thanks to Gary and James @ Bimmerworld.
0-60Motorsports Thu, May-03-2012, 12:14:39 PM So heres a nice update.
The Bimmer world C&R Racing Oil Cooler arrived so fast I hardly had time to realize it had been delivered to my house. The timing is perfect because the temps are begining to climb in Bahrain already reaching 33-40c :)
Here are the pics....
Comparison pics between OEM oil cooler on top and Bimmerworld at the bottom. The BW C&R Racing Direct-fit, dual-pass cooler - 25% more cooling capacity than stock is at least 30% larger than the OEM oil cooler. The capacity has also doubled...

Time to install....
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b96/ejazsharif/DARTH%20VADER/IMG_1256_1244x829.jpg
The two mounting holes needed a bit of modding/filing. 5 secs and it was done...

Installed :) If you notice we pulled the rubber part of the cover under the cooler so it kinda holds the rubber piece cover there and directs airflow into the cooler...

Perfect time to see how this Oil cooler aids in cooling the car in our 110-125f summer temps with 70-90% humidity :)
