Dear all,

I finally had my M3 delivered today. I would like to thank you all for all the information that I obtained from this forum. I was able to drive that beautiful thing (w/SMG) to my house safely (with white nuckles) http://www.m3forum.com/ubb/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

To be honest, I was very nervous when I first turned on the motor and started driving. I was driving like a 16 y/o student with my spine straight up! 25 miles to my house felt like 100 miles....

My dealer suggested me to start with S3 so I did. Man, it was really strange. As someone mentioned before, it felt like someone drivign the car with the manual tranny next to me. When I shifted up first time, there was this monent that I thought that the motor had stalled out. It is going to take a while until I get used to it.

One possible problem. The "M3" logo/budge/embrame (what do you call that thing?) on the trunk lid is NOT leveled. Well, it is aligned parallel to the upper edge/line of the tail lamp but is not to the bumper http://www.m3forum.com/ubb/confused.gif Do you guys find the same problem with your M3 http://www.m3forum.com/ubb/graemlins/help.gif
It is not a big deal. In fact, it may add some value to my car for resell http://www.m3forum.com/ubb/wink.gif

My dealer, The BMW Store in Cincinnati, did a fantastic job. In fact, the whole BMW group did an outstanding job for me. Everythign went very smoothl as scheduled. I am also in a manufacturing business and I know that it is hard to have things done on time. My hats off to them.
Also, my dealer gave a M3 hat, key holder, trunk mat and floor mats for free. Good deal!

I love my car http://www.m3forum.com/ubb/graemlins/rockband.gif
