well had my '01 M3 for about two weeks. Love the car, I had a 528iA with the sport package prior. No comparison of the two.

Got the carbon black / premium pkg / sound / parktronics / black interior /bi-xeon.

The Carbon Black is an awesome color, eventhough everyone sais it's blue, i love the color. It's different than the typical white or black..

I've got a '01 M3 built in June. It has done 2600km and drive beautifully. I've dressed the car up with the following factory options:

Leather seats (without side and lumbar support), climate windscreen, HK Hifi and sunroof.

The following were standard options on the car including the SMG II gearbox (I didn't get) for the standard base price of $141,600.00.

Parktronic, bi-xenon, headlight washer and rain sensor.

I just love driving it around and at traffic lights you feel like a goldfish in a glass bowl -- everyone looking at the car in awe.

I wish all you guys many years of happy motoring and hope all of you enjoy and this outstanding driving machine (if you take out the minor glitches)...!!!!
