have any of you guys experienced any wheel
damage, for example on pot holes, just want
to know how strong these 18 in wheels are.
i live in jersey and expecting my m3 in about
3 weeks. right before the winter

sup, "jetblack", i try my hardest not to go over the potholes, but sometimes i cant avoid it, but just to let you know i havent have any problems, and the e46 m3's ride is pretty stiff, i wouldnt worry about it, but it also dont hurt to check out the car from time to time.

Had to replace a rim in the first month of owning mine... Wife hit a pot hole on a back windy road (what can you do). The front passenger wheel was bent bad enough the mechanic was suprised it held air at all. BMW gave me a break on the cost of the wheel... got it for $450.00.
