that is gustav and yes he is a bit......

that s2 is pretty mean but you can do more with less money if you like when compared to the dinan stuff...

my car runs like 460 right now and i have only spent like 10k...maybe on performance mods when Dinans headers alone cost 8-9K without install...forget that

I was in Kamp-Linfort, Germany last September 2003. I won't identify the name of the engine tuner that I visited near Dusseldorf, but some guy with California Plates sent his M5 S2 with all the Dinan Mods by Lufthansa to have it all removed by this tuner. I was in the garage for nearly two hours while their engine mechanic explained and showed me all the Dinan mods that were removed. I even saw the dyno test. He proceeded to tell me the entertaining stories about how all the Arabs send their cars to Germany to have them tuned to blow past Porsches, Mercedes, and Ferraris'.....

m3buddha, Ive been to Kamp Lintfort too, and their M3 N400 looked promising. I remember they just got one of the first SMGII cars. See what they are selling now:

Problem was that the driver of the blue M5 wasnt as "aggressive" or active as Steve.

I cant do more than say "race"...

Gustav,

It seems like you are a very credible person so far. I read your link/bulletin and would like to share more observation regarding my visit to Kamp-Linfort. What lead me to Nowack was the magazine article written by Ian Kuah. I've learned that sometimes you need to check out the source in person.

So I flew out to Germany along with my German girlfriend. I myself own an e46 M3, and very curious to have them tune my car by them. When I visited, the silver SMG M3 was parked out front and the Nowack guys were not to eager to discuss about it. They made it clear that they were not comfortable with tuning the SMG model.

I was there to discuss about sending my M3 to them for the EVOIII conversion. Not really convinced by Nowack either.....but very curious...

Gustav, Is there anyway I can contact you about Nowack...need some more information about them...Otherwise, I might as well spend the conversion for a TT Porsche 996.

Thanks.

I like the look of the upcoming M5. Looks good.

z rated + Triflow,

Your funny guys. entertaining ROFL :D

Don't forget the normal M5 had to do the timing of the horn aswell as drive the car flat out. Also, doesn't the S2 have a modified differential to increase acceleration times? top speed? ha, the normal M5 would win that one.

I think the race is actually closer than that in real world observations.

I really doubt the car has a substanicial amount more hp than any factory M5 out there, why? because the pier de resistonce is the diff.

i dont deny that the S2 car should win, specially for the amount that was spent on it...

Just interesting
