For the California guys that Mod their M3's which Mods do you suggest that is just tasteful enough without failing the SMOG test. As we know California has a SMOG law that is like no other state :thumbsdown:

I would say start off with intake and maybe do mods to the cars looks keep it simple. correct me if im wrong im not sure but if you start messing with the exhaust system thats where the smog stuff comes into play because of the catalytic converter. Not sure what it will cost but it should do the trick.

You can change the whole exhaust system as long as you have cats (catalytic converters) and the parts are CARB (California Air Resources Board) approved.

You just need to have a smog hook up and you can mod as your heart desires.:thumbsup2:

are you looking for appearance or performance?
the only mod that would come close or not pass emissions would be changing your headers and cats. with that said, you can do any mod you want.
