Is there a difference in the shape of the strut brace bar between the years of productions on our cars? I have seen some that are straight and some that are more of a V shape, what is the reason for this, and what bar goes on what year?

i think they are all the same but i could be wrong. i know an aftermarket bar that didnt fit onto an 01 if that means anything lol...hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in. :thumbsup2:

2001 to 2006 are the same for M3. If it didn't fit for an 01 it wasn't for an M3.

I have seen 2 styles, i think i heard somebody say that the 04+ are different.

notice the difference? It could just be me but the first bar looks completely straight compared to the second picture.. could just be the angle ?
