1995 or 1996??
There seems to be a consensus that the 1995 is easier to mod. But dosn't the 96' include 3.2 L (instead of 3.0L) engine? Also, when I purchase one are there any things i should specifically look for as defectS?

Lastly, what type of maitenance can I expect with a 95 or 96? Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks a lot

you are correct about the mod, i sent a guy a response on this regarding the 95-98. As for the liters. yes there is an increase in liters, but with the ability to increase the size of the intake (for 3.0ltr) versus being stuck with stock size (for 3.2ltr), it will produce an improvement that the 3.0's performance is essentially equivilent to the a stock 3.2 liter.

With the better mod potentials, the 3.0 95 will be able to outperform a 3.2. as for defects, all you can do is just test drive the car, ask about the history of it (accidents, dent fixes, proper break in when car was first purchased, religiously changed oils every so few thousand miles, etc). Get the vin # and obtain a full report on the vehicle to make sure the guy isn't lying about anything or leaving any critical information out. as for maintenance, they should be somewhat the same. the biggest difference is that some of the parts will be different sizes, configurations, etc. but nothing substantial.
