First off, please excuse me for posting here because I'm not in the market for an M3, though I'd love one. I'm in the market for a nice, used car. I have very limited funds, but I love Bimmers... always have. Can't afford an M3 or any of the new e46 models I like so much. I may be able to afford an early model e36 style 3 series (92-94)... any thoughts on this? Would I be better of waiting another year and saving all my expendable cash for something different? Or, in that price range, is there another performance sedan (i.e. Audio etc) that may give me more performance for the same price?
