I'd bet however that most M3 drivers (hell most drivers period) could bring their car to the limits of adhesion in the corners, recoginize it, and maintain it there. Fact is, there will always be a faster car in a straight line. Well, unless you have a Veyron or something like that but then you pretty much have FU money so it doesn't really matter. M3 shines at the mid to top end of 3rd gear (75 to close to 100mph). This is why the M3 pulled ahead early. Once shifting into 4th...forget it. V8 top end and max HP kick in. In the 2nd run...looks like they already started near 100 and M3 was probably already in 4th gear. Got smoked.
