I am not sure of the weight yet. We are not talking about a whole lot of metal in the first place. If it was 3lbs. more I think the rigidly of stainless is worth it compared to soft aluminum. Even if it was 5 lbs. more that is such slight difference, what is it really going to affect. If you are that anal about weight just don't eat that day or get rid of strut bar all together, or remove all the seats and radio. The whole idea of a strut bar to stop or slow body flex so you do not damage the car or other componets while racing.

I'd be interested if it would work with cars that have traction control... depending on price.

Stainless steel doesnt sound bad to me at all, but the most importantly is the price and the design* http://m3forum.com/ubb/smile.gif well, let me know if you decide to make it, I'm looking forward for ur production

We are currently in development for E36 body styles. Our test vehicle is 97 328is with traction control. I am trying to keep the price down as much as possible. We are looking at approximately $300 price. The design is going to be very similar to what you see out there currently for the E36s. The price will also vary depending on polished and unpolished. We also currently working on the website. I will keep you posted as we progress. Thanks for the feedback. For all of those interested if you would to leave me your email address for later contact about the strut bar only. highsped02@aol.com
