just got my me about 6 months ago, and i am really have been enjoying the car. i wanted to make some modifications, but wasn't sure where to start. is best to start out the chip, cold air intake, exhaust mods, or something else? How loud does the air intake make the car run?

also, i'm looking to refinish the paint somehow. does someone know how much that should run for a good paint job? or what is considered a good paint job?

chip, intake, exhausts, suspension.....and some driving courses. good driving skills will have you driving much faster than any mod. cai will not increase the sound that much. just a little burlier. i've done all of the above except suspension, which is the next project.
good paint job around here is between 2500. to 5000. good luck.

An intake doesn't makethe car much louder. i have the turner/uuc cai and it is barely louder. As far as a paint job goes it all depends, do you want a full color change or a touch up or what?? it can run you from $2500 - $10,000, just depends. Also if your car ic Cosmos black it is really expensive because that is a hard color to paint.

thanks for your responses, guys. so i guess it's ok to do the chip first. this dealership was telling me to do the intake first. i just wasn't sure.

i also had someone tell me that a good paint job was about 2K which i though was outragious when i heard it, but i guess it's not so crazy. i'll have to wax the hell out it then because a paint job is not happening anytime soon.
