I just had my front tires replaced with a set of Bridgestones. How much are my fellow M3 pilots paying to have their tires replaced and how much time does it take to replace at the tire shops? The place I went to charged me $150 for my two fronts and my spare replacement. I know that Goodyear Tire and Auto here in NC charges about $25/tire. Do all shops have this much trouble replacing low profile M3 compound? The place I went to had the worst time getting the sidewall to seat properly on the bead. Ultimately they had to inflate the tire to 80 psi to get the tire to seal correctly.

Why didnt you get the Toyos? they are much better than the GY's and cheaper as well. I just got 4 18" PROXES T1-R's w/ shipping for $580.00 I have not mounted them yet but my shop charges $25.00 p/tire to do it.

well in the northeast.. town fair tires does not charge to mount, and 9 bucks to balance. i personnaly mounted my tires at a buddy's shop and had no problem. i have heard of this reverse mounting crap, and its just that. they are no harder/easier than any of the many other cars that have low pro tires. i think shops see bmw, then see dollar signs.
