I need some input. My car lease is up this month on a 2004 M3 rag top. It has SMG and just about all the up grades BMW offers. It has 13 K miles and I am the first owner.It has never and I mean never been in the rain or snow.I have to give the dealer some big bucks to bring it home and I can "BUT" this is where you guys come in. Will this car go for lets say another eight years if all the service is done. Do these cars really last? Are there any inherit defects that you know of that could be a nightmare down the road?

I have the same car and have asked myself the same question. What I have discovered is that it a car well worth maintaining well and keeping. Keep the longer warranty and enjoy!
