View Full Version : Looking for modded m3
riverflyer Sun, Mar-25-2007, 07:59:14 AM I live in the N. Calif mountains and have been looking for the right e46 m3 for a while. I have sports cars for specific purpose but need a good reliable fun and somewhat practical car for short trips etc.
Everywhere I drive here involves at least an hour of twisty mountain roads. In many ways I would like an m5 as I am tall and also love the sound of the v8, but mostly for the torque. So I figure that a modded m3, one that runs on pump gas but maybe has cams, headers, etc will provide that happy medium.
I have modded a lot of cars and am looking for one already done or almost done to my needs as I don't really have the time to put into doing another right now.
I am hoping to find a car that has been well cared for and is in good shape. Don't need a perfect show car, just a nice well cared for example.
If you have such a car or know of one, please send me a pm. First choices are silver/gray met., silver, steel gray or possibly carbon black. No gray interior, no LSB. Oh yeah, prefer manual.
thanks.

You'll have more responses as well as options, in the Cars for Sale/Wanted section.
You'll find a wide variety of modded cars, ranging from a mild N/A set up to NACHTBLAU M's F/I monster with over 600RWHP.
I'll move this thread there.
Mash3 Sun, Mar-25-2007, 03:59:22 PM I have a friend here in SoCal that is selling his very well tuned 640hp SC'd M3 (stroked to 3.4L, low comp, pistons, high boost, Schrick cams, the works). PM me if you, or anyone is interested.
"So if you or anyone is interested in a "new" 600-650 hp, fully built, every add on for less than a new M3 let me know. Thank you once again and take care.
P.S. Here is the ebay auction for my car. If you want to see it or go for a ride contact Jeff from Eurobahn(818 381-6335). He currently has my car and is selling it.
P.S.2 Here is the Ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-3...50 3042QQrdZ1
(my car is an 2002 not an 03)"

riverflyer Sun, Mar-25-2007, 05:24:44 PM David, thanks for moving it. Looks like your car would do!!
I found one back east but it was set up for race gas only, I need pump(cali 91 oct) set up. Did talk to Nismo, thanks, a bit too many miles and issues, though nice set up.
CS pic is Vally of Fire outside LV.

Pls don't get me wrong, his looks like a nice car, just too many small things in need for me. For someone else it might be fine and motor work looks to be stellar.
