lol..thanks..I think its priced good..and in good condition.and has some mods most would do here on the board..It will go on ebay in a bit.just to see how much response my over 1400 pics gets..lol..till then ill keep drivin it..may take it to virginia in july if I still have it.but that's a couple thousand miles in a week..and I don't wanna put too many miles on it.and I may run into rain..lol

ill post up the prices later.and a couple pics..it will be about a week or so before things are off the car.but just tryin to get a feeler on who wants what if the price is right..also..don't think I can sell the diffuser since takin it off will leave about 6 small holes in the stock one...unless there was a trade plus cash?don't know if anyone is up for that..thanks

long story
i went in about 2 months ago to get a service engine soon light checked out,,and they found that a couple parts that worked with the vanos unit were bad,,so that was fixed under warranty(i just had to front oil change,,and plugs)
i drive it for about a month (1500 miles or so)even on a nice trip to indiana
and light comes back on,,so they looked it over,,cuz it threw out the same 2 codes from when they fixed it the first time(the car still drove fine just had the light on)
they still couldnt figure it out
so i guess they have a small team of people that visit dealerships in zones,,so they look it over,and they decide to pull the oil pan
and found metal shavings,,so last tues i was told they ordered a new motor for it (and its all gonna be covered under the motor warranty)
so since last wed i have been drivin a loaner 330i coupe till the motors put in my car

so needless to say the car is still for sale,,and i do not know if a new motor in the car will help or hurt the sale(since most dont like 77,000 miles on a M motor when they talk to me about price,lol)
i know it needs proper brake in,and ill gladly be drivin it around and keepin it under 4500 rpms,,but i even thought about selling it right after i get it outta the shop(it would have about 30 miles on it then)
i will most likely keep it as i plan to drive to virginia beach in july with my daughter

car is done at the shop
got it out monday and everything is great
i have put about 250 miles so far on it,,no revving over 4400 rpms,,no full throttle's

also i have to go back in tues to sign the new warranty papers,,since they were not ready when i got the car
and im told by my service guy it just over 10,000$ that bmw took care of,,lol

im so glad to have it back and the new motor is the best part and paying nothing at all,,you cant beat that

is the price still the same even with the new motor?

from a guy who is suppost to pick it up in july

the motor has 250 miles on it now
so unless someone offers more then that it will go to him

motor has the 4 year 50,000 mile warranty on it
so thats till May 2011 or 126,614

car has 77,400 miles on it now
and with the new motor installed
i have put almost 800 miles on the new motor

car was in the shop for the past couple days for the 1200 miles service,,and while there the car is getting or has got a new mass airflow sensor,,starter,,and a new cyl 1-3 catalytic converter(under warranty)
i will gladly fax all the papers i have got from the dealer when i pick the car up monday
also the car still has under 78000 miles

all the parts replaced by the dealer have a 2 year unlimited mile warranty too
