Ashburn, you should part out that CSL add on, i'll buy it tomorrow if you want to part it out...i even have a silver grey trunk we can just do swap instead of you taking out the add on....

Looks real nice, but if I were you, I'd color match that piece to have a cleaner look.

FYI in talking with BMW/NA..............BMW does not recognize a 2003.5
model regardless of production date.......an 03/ is an 03 regardless of led lights or whatever! The 03.5 adds nothing to its selling power.:nixweiss:

Let me correct you here. 03.5 does carry a lot of weight. IMO, it's the best model to get....reason being BMW fixed all the issues, especially the rod bearing issue on the 03.5. Second, 03.5 has the exact same looks (inside and out) as an '04, '05, '06. Plus it has the 6yr/100K powertrain warranty which was not offered by BMW on 2004, 2005, and 2006.

So in turn, you can buy a nice well maintained BMW, like this one for sale, and enjoy the looks of a 2006 M3 and have more engine warranty than an '06 model...not to mention the fact that an '06 will also cost atleast $15K more if not less.

wrong, early models of the 03.5 were affected by the rod bearing recall. the first 03.5 were being produced in late march. the rod bearing recall ended around May.

They all come with 4yr/50k warranty which includes maintenance and bumper to bumper warranty. '04 - '06 do not come with 6yr/100k powertrain warranty...only '01 - '03 (including '03.5) came with 6yr/100k powertrain warranty.

So how many years/miles does the 01'-03' and 04'-06 M3's come with? Isn't it the same warranty?

What's the current price and in terms of maintenance/warranty (4yr/50k), what month in 07 does it end? Have you considered extending it? I almost bought this one but warranty was about to expire as well. Seems to me it might be worth the CPO if you plan on selling the car IMHO.

Today, the car has 30k miles and current price is $36,000 with oem 18" rims
(19" Maya RT5s are sold) and the maintenance warranty ends 09/07. powertrain warranty ends 09/09 or 100k miles.
