Forum Guidelines
Dear members,
In order to make this forum a better place for all to enjoy we have made a few rule changes. Most of you are familiar with our zero tolerance policy on personal attacks and it seems to be a success. We are now going to implement a few new rules to keep the serious side of the forum on track. We need to separate the serious sections from the play section because childish behavior in the general forums has a way of ending most serious discussions and turning off those who come here only to discuss technical matters.
We can no longer allow foul language, post whoring, idle banter, thread hijacking or any other sort of playing around that some of you have gotten use to doing lately. If you keep that sort of stuff in the OT section, we will not have any problems but in the general forum, it can earn you a strike or eventually lead to you being banned from the forum. The same 3-strike rule will apply to these new rules.
We also ask all of you to review the signature rules and try to limit your avatar and signature to car related matters. If you still wish to use the female form, then make sure they are in good taste and have their clothes on. Furthermore I would like to remind everyone that racial/gender slurs and nudity are not allowed on this forum and they can earn you an immediate restriction. This applies to all sections of the forum.
Leaders and members of other community websites and forums are also welcome to participate on the M3forum.net message board and use its many features with full privileges. However, as with non-supporting vendors, we also request that you not advertise or promote your board in any way.
Finally; posting of private messages, either via the forum (PM's) or through another private medium (Email/Instant messages), from another member is not something we like to see on this forum. They are private and should be kept as such unless you need it as proof of a misrepresented purchase and then only with the approval of one of the moderators.
Suggestions of, threats of, or encouraging others to become violent, or perform violent or illegal actions will be grounds for a General Nuisance Infraction. If severe enough at the moderator's discretion, this action can be grounds for banning from the M3Forum.
New Addition: We prefer that when posting a new thread with any sort of links, please explain what others will find when they click that link. At times, links are not very obvious and may be NWS.
Thank you.
